Desciption of the archaeological area : Pizzillo Mausoleum
The archaeological area is located in the comune di Bonea in provincia di Benevento.
The Pizzillo Mausoleum is an important archaeological site on the east side of Mount Taburno of which very little is known about its origins.
The monument has a geometric shape of an inverted cone and is believed to have been a funerary monument dating back to Roman times.
