In the area of the Arch of the Sacrament, which is part of the Forum of the Roman city, there is a Roman thermal bath that was brought to light in 2009.
The arch, located at the entrance to the Forum, dates back to the time of Trajan and is supported by brick pillars each 5 metres in diameter. During the Middle Ages, the sculptures, marble and ornaments on the arch were removed. Only a small part of the original marble covering is visible.
