Discover the municipality of Ceppaloni
The town of Ceppaloni is located at 14 km of Benevento and is located at an altitude of 368 meters.The village of Ceppaloni is surrounded by a countryside rich in olive groves and vineyards.
It is formed by the small villages of Beltiglio and San Giovanni, and its history has its origins in the early Middle Ages during the period of the Gastaldo of Benevento.
It was the domain of the Fraineta, Bussone family in the 12th century. Later, it was owned by the Stellato family during the 13th-14th centuries, by the Della Marra family during the 15th-16th centuries, then by the D’avalos family in the 16th century, and by the de Lagonissa or Leonessa family from 1633 to 1806, after the abolition of feudal rights. After the Unification of Italy, it became part of the province of Benevento.
Currently, the municipality has a population of around 3300 inhabitants.

From Pescara: take the A14 motorway, exit Termoli and continue in direction of Boiano – Benevento. Next, follow the State Road 7 Appia (direction Montesarchio – Caserta) and at the intersection follow Arpaise. Then continue in direction of Ceppaloni.
From Rome: take the A1 motorway, exit Caianello and continue in direction of Benevento. Afterwards, follow the Strada Statale 7 Appia (direction Montesarchio – Caserta) and at the junction follow for Arpaise. Then continue in direction of Ceppaloni.
From Naples – Caserta: take the A1 motorway, exit Caserta Sud – Maddaloni. Then follow the SS 7 Appia road (direction Montesarchio – Benevento) and at the junction follow for Arpaise. Then continue in direction of Ceppaloni.
From Salerno – Avellino: take the A16 motorway, exit Benevento. Next, follow the SS 7 Appia road (direction Montesarchio – Caserta) and at the junction follow for Arpaise. Then continue in direction of Ceppaloni.
From Bari: take the A16 motorway, exit Benevento. Then follow the SS 7 Appia road (direction Montesarchio – Caserta) and at the junction follow for Arpaise. Then continue in direction of Ceppaloni.
