Discover the municipality of San Nicola Manfredi
The town of San Nicola Manfredi is located at 8 km of Benevento and is located at an altitude of 409 meters.The town consists of seven villages, surrounded by forests, pastures and countryside. In all, the town has approximately 3700 inhabitants.
In the area of Santa Maria Ingrisone, numerous archaeological finds have been made, including marble sculptures, coins and tombstones from the Roman era. It was the territory of the Baron of Montefusco, the Cantelmi, the D’Aquino and finally the Carafa who owned it until the feudal system was abandoned.
How to get to San Nicola Manfredi ?
From Pescara: take the A14 motorway, exit Montenero di Bisaccia. Continue in direction of Isernia, Mafalda, Montenero di Bisaccia and take the Trivento’s exit. Then follow the provincial road and pass through Torella del Sannio and Castropignano. Continue on the state road in direction of Benevento, exit at San Giorgio del Sannio and follow in direction of San Nicola Manfredi.
From Rome: take the A1 motorway, exit at Caianello and continue in direction of Benevento. Then follow the state road 7 Appia (direction Montesarchio – Caserta), exit Castello del Lago and continue in direction of San Giorgio del Sannio and follow in direction of San Nicola Manfredi.
From Naples – Caserta: take the A1 motorway, exit Caserta Sud – Maddaloni. Next, follow the State Highway 7 Appia (direction Montesarchio – Benevento), pass through Maddaloni and take the direction Melizzano, Solopaca and Frasso Telesino. Then follow in direction of the A16 – Benevento, exit at San Giorgio del Sannio and follow in direction of San Nicola Manfredi.
From Salerno – Avellino: take the A16 motorway, exit Benevento. Then follow the state highway 7 Appia (in direction of Montesarchio – Caserta), exit at Castello del Lago, continue in direction of San Giorgio del Sannio and follow in direction of San Nicola Manfredi.
From Bari: take the A16 motorway, exit Benevento. Then follow the state road 7 Appia (direction Montesarchio – Caserta), exit Castello del Lago, continue in direction of San Giorgio del Sannio and follow in direction of San Nicola Manfredi.
