Civic Museum

More than 4,000 exhibits from different geological eras on a time scale of millions of years are displayed in the museum.

One of the rooms has an exhibition panel to illustrate the evolution of life on earth: tracing the evolutionary stages of human beings. Replicas of Lucy’s bones, footprints found in Letoli (in Africa), replicas of human skulls, exhibited a time span of 8 to 1 million years ago, from the original hominid to Homo sapiens.
