Museum of Padre Pio

The museum is located inside the Capuchin Convent of Pietrelcina and tells the story of Padre Pio’s life. Some objects and relics belonging to the Saint are kept here, such as: the cradle in which he was born, the writing desk, the notebook he used during lessons at school, some stoles and gowns, chalices, purification vessels, etc.

It is also possible to admire the paintings by Francesco Gentile, a pictorial expression of the environment that provided a relevant setting for the story of Padre Pio.
