Built in 1873, it was severely damaged by an earthquake in 1980. Reconstruction lasted at least 25 years and parish activities resumed in 2005. After a long period of disuse, the church was reconsecrated thanks to Monsignor Michele De Rosa, Bishop of Cerreto-Telese-Sant’Agata De’ Goti.
The interior is characterised by a single nave and adorned with faux niche chapels. In the apsidal space is the main altar, where the statue of St. Michael is located.
