The town of Frasso Telesino is located at 36 km of Benevento and is located at an altitude of 374 meters.The municipality of Frasso Telesino is located between the peaks of Mount Sant’Angelo, Mount Cardito and Serra del Ceraso.
This municipality has its origins in Norman times, although archaeological finds prove that there were urban settlements in Samnite times.
In 1360, the town was bought by Diego della Ratta, then ceded to the Coppola family, and later to the Acquaviva dukes. Later, it was owned by Gambacorta, Pignatelli, De Ponte, Orsini, Dentice and Spinelli, who remained in power until the abolition of feudal rights in 1806. After the unification of Italy, Frasso Telesino was integrated into the province of Benevento. In 1943 Frasso Telesino was bombed twice by the Americans.
Today, the municipality has about 2,200 inhabitants and local production consists mainly of olive oil and wine (falanghina, piedirosso, aglianico).

From Pescara: take the A14 motorway, exit Termoli. Follow the direction of Boiano – Benevento. Continue on the Benevento-Telese-Caianello highway and exit at Frasso Telesino.
From Rome: take the A1 motorway, exit Caianello. Continue on the Benevento-Telese-Caianello highway and exit at Frasso Telesino.
From Naples – Caserta: take the A1 motorway, exit Caserta Sud – Maddaloni. Continue in the direction of Benevento and take the Dugenta – Sant’Agata dei Goti – Caianello dual carriageway in the direction of Telese Terme, exit Frasso Telesino.
From Salerno – Avellino: take the A16 motorway, exit Benevento. Continue on the Benevento -Telese – Caianello highway and exit at Frasso Telesino.
From Bari: take the A16 motorway, Benevento exit. Continue on the Benevento -Telese – Caianello highway and exit at Frasso Telesino.
