Description of the museum : Ornithological Museum
The museum is located in comune di Apice in the province of Benevento.
The aim of this museum is to stimulate interest and knowledge about the feeding and breeding of birds on the territory.
The exhibition consists of 300 bird nests, 150 eggshells, 20 pairs of pure-bred canaries, 50 stuffed specimens, more than 800 pictures and 50 videos on the global avifauna. In addition, the museum houses more than 2000 scientific volumes.
